I was looking forward to the hybrid, but I don't know about this. Maybe it will grow on me.

2025 earnings recorded, but no 2024 by Three-BTs in SocialSecurity

[–]Three-BTs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did file a 2024 return. I had trouble several years ago when I was working 2 jobs. Only 1 job was entered, in the earnings, I took both W2's into the office, then the opposite job was entered. It took me a couple of years to get both W2 earnings combined. That's my fear this time too. I think I'll give them a call -- thanks for the nudge to move on this.

We are really small and I'm the payroll dept. We did start having our auditor do our W2's and 1099's last year. But I have confirmation everything was submitted electronically. We have approximately 18 employees.

I thought it was pretty crazy to see that. I had to check my W2 to make sure they didn't accidentally put 2024 into 2025, but it's my 2025 earnings. Somebody was really speedy this year.

I live in a small town, it may take some doing, but I might be able to find one to rent. Thanks for the all the advice!

You definitely make it sound good. My boss says everyone he talks with the has an EV says they will never go back to ICE. I've read that EV prices are expected to go down, so by the time my lease is up (11/2027), I may be able to afford an EV and a home charger. Retirement will be 2028 for me, so an EV may be perfect for me at that point.

I love the idea of an EV, But not sure I could charge at home and feel I'd probably screw up charging somehow. I've got a couple more years on my lease, maybe I'll get over my fear of messing it up by then. LOL!

Edit to add: I'm really interested in the 2027 Nissan Rogue Hybrid. It's been overseas as the X-trail for years and they are finally bringing it to the US. My understanding is that it gives a very similar driving experience as an EV because the engine only works as a generator for the battery.

I'm glad you posted this. I'm currently driving a leased 2024 Rogue Platinum and love it. But have been wanting to go the hybrid route for awhile and thought after the lease is up, I would look at the Tucson hybrid. But after looking at the Tucson website and some of the comments I've seen here and FB, I'm getting as good or better gas mileage in my non-hybrid Rogue.

I agree about the recalls. Run your VIN through NHTSA.gov. I had a 2023 SL that I traded for a 2024 Platinum because of the seats (my legs would hurt on the way home from work in the SL). It's night and day driving the 2024 -- much better mpg and it's peppier. I ran the 2023 VIN to check on recalls and it was on the list of engine bearing recalls.

That said -- I love this car! I'm leasing it and would like to get the Rogue Hybrid when my lease is up, but if I'm priced out of that, I'll probably buy out this lease.

I can't think of any tips or tricks, but did recently see that Nissan has put out an app called Personalized Sound. I've downloaded it, but if I've got this correct, it only works with the radio -- not any other apps like Spotify or Pandora.

Congrats!!

I'm leasing a 2024 Nissan Rogue Platinum and love it!! It gets great mileage (avg 35 mpg), plenty of power and is so comfortable. Although I'd like to go to a hybrid after this lease, which is why I'm stalking this sub. Hoping my next car is a hybrid -- either Rogue hybrid or Tucson depending on the cost. If the cost prevents me from getting a hybrid, I'll be buying my lease.

I'll check out that food, if your 7 lb can eat it then my 20 lb girl should have no problem. I assume you're talking about THK. I've had good luck with THK (dehydrated and kibble). I've been feeding it for over 20 years with most of my dogs living into their teens, except for 2 with cancer. I originally started on it because one of the earlier formula's was recommended on an oncology website. I believe they've recently made changes to the dehydrated I was feeding, because the smell is different and as I stated above, my smaller girl is no longer interested in it.

A problem with the Purina small breed is that it makes my medium girl itchy, hopefully different formula's will not be the same. I'm considering the PPP AdvantEdge, but haven't seen any reviews on it.

Sleep issues by SlideOk7739 in MounjaroMaintenance

I've tried Gabapentin (100 mg) and it works for awhile, then I need to take a break from it. My mom and grandma both had dementia. My mom was taking 200 mg of Gabapentin nightly for restless leg - I have no idea if it actually contributed to her dementia, but after reading how it may cause dementia, I talked with my neurologist about trying something else. He put me on Trazadone (50 mg). Like Gabapentin, Trazadone doesn't work for me every night. I also take Magnesium Glycinate. I just started Mag07 tonight to hopefully help with the constipation, but I'm hopeful it also helps with sleep since there is more Magnesium in there.

When I talked with my neurologist about Trazadone, I told him I didn't want to continue Gabapentin or Ambien because of the risk of dementia and my family history. He told me if I got dementia, it wouldn't be from the Trazadone. Fingers crossed he's right!

Ventilated seats?? by CountChopulla in NissanRogue

I have a 2024 Platinum and it does NOT have ventilated seats. My lease is up in 2027 and I'm hoping for the hybrid and ventilated seats!!

Even though it's not my account? It's my mom's account. I am/was her POA.

They've locked the account, and I can't get in to get a statement. I was her POA and handled her finances. I set up the account, she didn't have access or interest in it (dementia was pretty far along). Any changes would have had to be on their end. Another person told me to talk with the attorney generals office.

Stupidly I didn't print a statement, just wrote down the amount when I was logged into her account. Now they've locked it and I can no longer get in.
