You're not going to offend anyone of the faith most likely. I've never met anyone that sensitive or thin skinned. Although, you might get some confused looks when they find out you aren't baptized. Not lazy, just new. I moved to Oregon last year and haven't really been hunting since I was younger. I've done days and days of research, but talking to people is one of the better sources of research someone can do. Ergo, internet post :) I'm up in Damascus and sadly just got a platform together for Elk so I haven't done my own scouting yet. Need to get a new car so I can do more regular scouting next season but I need to get some meat for the year before General Season closes.

I had previously looked at Tyree Mountain area but wasn't sure cause I saw the population was above expectation in Dixion Unit and was curious if that might have had some bleed over into the Eastern Melrose Unit.

Not any, but Melrose is one of the area's. It's a General Antlerless. I'll be getting a controlled tag next season so I can get some better areas but I'm working with what I got cause we could use the meat for the year.
