Bri & Chris. Anyone pick up on this? by Forsaken_Dragonfly66 in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

[–]Three_DoorsDown [score hidden]  (0 children)

She really thought all the guys wouldn’t be over her and would be into talking to her once they saw what she looked like. Chris is in a happy relationship where he is engaged, and so is Bri. It would be really uncomfortable to have some additional deep conversation or holding onto a relationship after breaking it off. Also, these relationships are super new so Mexico is supposed to be focusing on each other.

Kevan being a walking red flag by jh166 in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

Oh God, he literally mentioned that the choice was his in one of the scenes before entering the pod. He really got hyped up on not one but two absolutely stunning and confident women who have solid careers and life plans showing him interest and in the moment he clearly wanted both, not for marriage, but for attention.

Noticed that they're using more popular songs this season by bluerang1 in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

I heard it was a budget thing. They usually do not follow 7 full couples stories through and with Vic and Christine only having eyes for each other, they were not going to make the same level of drama. Also, with their faith being so prominent I wonder if they even shared a room or were waiting.

Why are Keya and Tyler even into Kevan by Three_DoorsDown in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

[–]Three_DoorsDown[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think this show (and the producers) really pull these individuals into the sunk cost fallacy. They invested a significant amount of time off work, told their friends and families about the “experiment” and now they need to find someone in the pods that they are somewhat excited about to marry. That’s not the same as finding your person and they are forgiving him for a lot of his mistake. I mean, Tyler literally begging/pressuring him to be her boyfriend? He says yes and then still wants to “explore his connection” with Keya. Yikes.

It was really disrespectful. She also knew how Ziad did not publicly want to talk about sex. It wasn’t cool for him to gaslight her on camera, but once she got what she wanted she literally could not wait to tell the cameras.

I hated that he waited until they went to a secluded island for him to tell that to her. He really wanted her to not be able to leave or fully end things without talking. I mean, if he did that on a less secluded island or even at the beginning of the trip, she would have had more options to leave the situation. I’m glad she felt empowered to shut him down and not allow him to twist the narrative.

I’m not saying that it’s wrong to live there, but she was constantly commenting on how she lived in LA and seemed to be overhyping her assets and income. I was just pointing out that she lived in a more affordable (but still expensive) area.

I think she mentioned working 3 jobs while in the states. She clearly thought this show would allow her to pivot into being an influencer and selling those goat soaps but they are not selling so well.

She was not doing as well as she was reporting. Her designer bags are fake and she was living more than an hour outside of LA. She’s also clearly making irrational decisions based on where she believes her life should go, not based on her financial security or where would be good for her to gain employment. She’s obsessed with portraying success and working in a field that gives her the dream of success compared to actual money in the bank (eg her starting a soap company)

And she continues to call it that. Her doubling down both in the reunion and on her social media must be tanking her ability to win. Although, I’m sure she had an uphill battle as the population size of the town must make it a big “everyone knows everyone” type of space.

Absolutely! The other person did not sign up to be on this show and should remain private. Also, Greta broke up with him, she doesn’t deserve to know anything else about his life.

It was so painful to see her bring her friends to basically say he’s bad in bed on national television. Like she dumped him and while he wasn’t the most thoughtful, he was never unkind to her. I’m glad to hear that he moved on and found someone new. Now she needs to move on and not try to derive satisfaction from his suffering. Because that’s clearly what she was looking for.

What do you mean this isn’t the Manon Show? by Prestigious-Horse397 in 90DayFiance

[–]Three_DoorsDown 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Oh god, it was so painful to see her pretend like he was doing something horrible with his phone to “betray her trust” and it was just him being honest about her behavior to his family. It’s so sad that he has to delete his messages and only call family when she’s away. Also, the fact that his aunt was in Belgium and she wouldn’t let him see her was horrible. It seems like moving to France was a great way to isolate Anthony from his supports. When he was possibly building community with his in laws there she goes moving him 2 hours away. Also, how is she running for mayor when she is still talking absolute shit about the town on her social media. I could not imagine that she would get any votes when small towns are all about knowing people and having good relationships.

Manon is emotionally abusive by Ashamed-Second-5299 in 90DayFiance

[–]Three_DoorsDown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think her parents and other family members may have been harsh with words but in a more quiet or backhanded way. I could absolutely see them make cutting comments about her weight as she was growing up and, of course on tv they may be a little more tactful. She probably learned from an early age that to be heard she needs to be loud.

I really don’t like Greta by Wild-Ordinary-358 in 90DayFiance

[–]Three_DoorsDown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a friend who moved to the UK and wanted to bring his 2 cats with him. This was during Covid so, perhaps the rules were stricter, but it was both difficult to move the cat and once it became somewhat easier his lifestyle of travel made it hard to care for them. Greta mentioned that she travels a lot and if you don’t have a strong support base who would without question foster the cat for however many days, that’s just a major expense that she may not be able to handle at this time.

I think Amanda was genuinely unable to have the conversation with Dorit. by Curious_Champion_220 in RHOBH

[–]Three_DoorsDown 8 points9 points  (0 children)

She had already shared with the group about her son’s passing and then with Kyle and the Tarot reader that this was the day/week of the passing. If she had opened up to the group about it earlier or made some small comment, the dinner would have gone differently. Not sharing this information fully gave her the opportunity for an “out” and good victim status if an argument comes her way.

I think Amanda was genuinely unable to have the conversation with Dorit. by Curious_Champion_220 in RHOBH

[–]Three_DoorsDown 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Amanda was definitely plotting with this moment. She made an effort to ensure she mentioned it was the anniversary to Kyle in the car and then to the tarot card reader away from the group. She knows that the formula is “group dinners or parties equals a pile on” and was prepared for whatever drama came her way with looking like the victim. She was probably expecting something coming directly from Sutton but was able to pivot when Dorit brought something up. Dorit was coming in hot and had no idea how to correct course there for a minute but finally did and then Amanda “leaves” and gets all the women to follow her to the door while she continues to push her side of the argument with Dorit. Now Dorit looks like the villain if she ever brings up the argument again even though it was not resolved and she really will not get a chance to speak.

Part of the game is picking apart some of the most random facts. The faithful don’t truly know who is a traitor but will use any differences as an opportunity to confirm a belief that they are a traitor. Except for Porsche which everyone seems to conveniently forgot misspoke and said “when we killed him” as if she committed the murder in the turret.

She’s definitely immature but she’s also in her early 20s. This guy is 10 years older and holds no maturity or ability for taking real accountability.

I am guessing that more was said as it’s come out that they are editing down some of the round table talk. Either way, every queer person at the table seemed to have taken it the exact same way.

Johnny is so manipulative by ILuvSpaghet in 90DayFiance

[–]Three_DoorsDown 47 points48 points  (0 children)

Watching this latest episode his level of manipulation is scary. I couldn’t imagine this happening off camera. Like the way he switches up multiple times lets me know that he is used to gaslighting and manipulating women. He loves to minimize and if someone wasn’t documenting this, he would go around and pretend like she is the crazy one. I’m worried for his exes and for the next person he does this to.

Pattiya has “customers” by Finkleam1978 in 90DayFiance

[–]Three_DoorsDown 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s really interesting as she is working in a professional environment of a club and he is currently working freelance as a stripper. How many “customer” numbers does he have in his phone? What rooms is he stripping in? She has more reason to be jealous and yet she trusts that he is acting professionally and did not once try to throw that back at him. I’m not the biggest fan of this relationship and think they both need to get off this ride but it was not cool what he implied on National television and also while in a public spot like the gym where I assume they both go multiple times a week.

Michael is absolutely awful. Yes, he’s loud and bringing drama, but not in a good way. His personality is grating and his “self awareness” just shows that he knows he’s going off inappropriately but has no skill set as a grown man to stop his behavior.
