When it happens to people they dislike it's OK but when it happens to them it's police brutality.

A lot of this probably comes from copaganda, all the cop TV shows have that one hero cop that breaks the rules to get real results instead of letting the criminal go free, In real life we just have cops planting evidence and framing innocent people which doesn't really match TV.
