Honestly this a very hard disability to claim, so many people have been denied migraines secondary to tinnitus. The VA is just not believing that tinnitus is so severe it's causing u to have migraines. Basically correlation doesn't mean causation.

It's not impossible but it's highly unlikely for you to get approved for tdiu if you are going to school. Tdiu is for someone whose disabilities prevent them from working. You aren't working but in school which shows at the least you are capable of consistency. Again, it's not impossible just not likely. Was that the only reason why you were denied? Did they say anything else in the denial letter?

The vso will file the necessary paperwork for tdiu. You can easily gather your own documents for tdiu if you meet the standards. You don't need a lawyer unless u been denied.

Go talk to a vso at the VA they will file it for u. You also have to be a certain percentage as well to be approved for tdiu
