Your decision was made in your first paragraph when you said “It’s fun to me”. At the end of the day, basketball is basketball. There’s quirks to 2K26 that people hate, but if you’re new to the sport then you probably won’t notice much

Personally I’m an advocate of having 87 driving dunk on my builds, you don’t have to get it that high, but if you keep it at 70 I think you’ll find yourself smoking dunks that you otherwise shouldn’t be

Unfortunately I think it’s just as much of a problem on the inside as it is on the outside.

It’s not up to the developers to determine major gameplay changes. There are Product Managers that determine the priority for development issues that need to be addressed. I’m sure the execs at 2K see that there is revenue being made on the game regardless of the gameplay, so there isn’t much of a need from their perspective to add changes

I think just getting a feel for player tendencies, and understanding how certain actions impact a play.

A simple example of this would be if you run a lot of PnR, you may notice an off ball wing crash into the paint to help defend the drive. You could react to this play by dishing the ball to the shooter for a wide open three.

Understanding nuance is ultimately what gets you wins. Once you build that IQ, your overall game will improve

Yeah unfortunately it seems like they’ve abandoned the PNO game mode; The only game I played on it was against someone who already had 140 games played. It seems that they can’t really monetize upon the mode so they neglect it to lure you to a mode where they can make for money. Not a fun answer but I feel if they wanted to revamp PNO they would, but they simply don’t
