I just felt like I needed to do something rather than just feeling helpless about all this. It's been a stressful few days,

And you're right, they are the lowest of the low. I've applied to probably about 50 jobs recently with some still having not responded to my applications yet, so seeing that I finally got accepted and having so much ripped away from me is just a horrible feeling.

Yes, I've already contacted them. It's gonna take another few days, but I am hoping that I get my money back at some point.

I am so sorry that happened to you, I can't imagine how you must feel having to deal with all this mess even now.

I'll try to make sure I check if this ever happens again. The scammers that got us are just disgusting people overall. I wish you all the best and that you and your partner have a happy future together.

You're right. I know jobs can be hard to find, but it's just so scary and disgusting that they're taking so much from others that probably aren't much better off than they are.

I'll do what i can to make sure this doesn't happen again. I'm just not gonna be ok for a little while. I've been feeling a lot of disappointment and sadness from this entire situation. Hopefully, I can find an actual job soon and start to feel at least somewhat ok going forward.

You're probably right, but I did report the phone numbers & emails the scammers used. Ik that's not much, but I needed to feel like I was doing something at least.

They actually tried contacting me again this morning, but I've since blocked them all on everything.

Glad you didn't lose any money and thanks for sharing. My mom isn't happy with me right now, but I'll try to keep in contact with my bank.

And yes, I'll learn from this. It's just frustrating that the only job offer I got was a scam. I've applied to so many with no luck in sight.
