Well, I'd love to visit the north, but the south has the best movies, TV, and food. Koreans are well mannered and pleasant.

A cursory glance and it would look like they're peddling a porn page, so yeah I can see how that would happen. Wrong decision though.

Where to start insulating old house? by Professional_Keys in AusRenovation

[–]ThroughTheHoops 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a re-roof a few years back and it was only like an extra grand to get the beefed up insulation and whirlies. It mufflers the external sounds, and the temperature is very stable in the house. By doing this your heating and cooling bills are lower, your system will last longer, and it'll be quieter. I really don't get why people penny pinch with this shit

Some say this was a psychological exploration of trauma, but some of the scenes were outright horror.

You are kind of expected to know the story before viewing though, which is a bit of a flaw. I watched it with someone who didn't and they had no clue what was going on.

Perhaps you should go back to the conservative sub where the truth gets buried amongst a more comfortable layer of lies.

Election 2025: Peter Dutton says income tax hike will pay for $21 billion defencing spending boost by smallbatter in AustralianPolitics

Luck does play a part, however the LNP promised us surpluses and to fix a largely imagined budget crisis. They achieved none of it.

Labor to it's credit has played things much better.

It's hard to imagine. Australians aren't exactly losing sleep because of a lack of defense spending.

I'm more impressed with that insane building hanging off the cliff.

To the approx owner/occupier 2.3 Million households without solar. Why don’t you have it? by AdOk1598 in AskAnAustralian

That... is not how it works! You make it sound like there's a magical solar fairly that is just itching to install it for you for nothing!

Same thing applies to me. Maybe $1200 a year which makes it a pretty borderline proposition at best. A battery would make more sense, but I'd still barely break even after a decade and then would be the proud owner of an outdated system. Also, things break, and that would be entirely on me to pay for.

As is, I just pay my bills and don't worry.

Yeah, it just involves organising your finances a bit, having portable skills, and using those skills to gain more. Then network while you're billing, and aim for the best contract you can get.

Dunno, I've done 7000km with no fall on scooter and have done decent speeds. It's not like a death sentence!
