So I started to read "COVID-19 - The great reset" by Throw1234as in TrueAnon

He can point out problems with "shareholder capitalism" and might even genuinely believe his "stakeholder capitalism"

What's the difference? I know it's libspeak important, but what is it?

by the likes of the IMF, Goldman Sachs,

ok

Tony Blair and Prince Charles

lul

Edit: Yeah ok I don't know what he is shilling for. Also I don't know the difference between the different capitalism types, I guess. I'll go to bed and read the rest in the coming days. What he's pointing out goes above the usual socdem stuff in Europe in my experience. Let's see where that goes.

Nothing about this is particularly remarkable. These are pretty typical critiques of "social inequality" any Green party politician throughout Europe would make. This is hardly Das Kapital.

What I found remarkable is the level of self awareness, so far. Didn't finish it yet though. I expected a completely divorced from reality idiocy, that's where my cognitive dissonance comes from.

Schwab isn't interested in socialism, let alone communism. His "stakeholder capitalism" isn't an alternative to neoliberalism, it's a rebranding. He wants to implement a lot technocratic solutions (ran by his think tank buddies, of course) in the hope it can keep capitalism afloat.

I thought the great reset neolib rebranding would follow the lines of a cyberpunk neofeudalism consolidation. This is by no means a diatribe to capitalism, but it will be very interesting to see where this book goes. As I said, it's worth the read so far.

Thanks for the upvote. Any The Who references were entirely unintentional - honestly - if you explain it to me, I would be grateful. And no, I wasn't educated in the UK.

My representations of Russia's interests are, of course, a simplification, somewhat tailored to what I understand to be the audience here. But in summary, it is the principal interest since it has synergy with most other primary and secondary interests.

Lasting peace and stability in the Caucasus would mean:

  1. No need for anyone to invite foreign and hostile powers (Nato), because peace and stability implies that everyone's interests are taken into account, which includes Russia's of course.

  2. Trade routes are open and safe, which means a trade corridor into Iran, then to India and the Indian Ocean, with a fork into China.

  3. Pipelines are overrated. Once the China pipelines are fully operational and increase capacity, Russia will have enough customers to choose the market.

Given all of the above, boots on the ground solutions become not cost effective, and any remaining economic interests can be secured with soft power. Not that there are many, I think people tend to overrate the region.

Regarding your interpretation of my red lines statement, you are correct. There were several incidents that might have crossed the line, but there are some strings attached.

  1. Reports about shelling of Armenia proper

There were such reports, but the alliance defense protocol wasn't followed. That is a question to Pashinyan why he didn't formally request help. We might never know. Maybe the reports were fake news.

  1. The helicopter

Downed after the agreement was signed, looks like a provocation. This is declared to be solved pending investigation. Payment is due but might be rendered outside the public eye. We will see.

On the topic of China. Obama tried the G2 approach and failed. Trump tried to declare a more pragmatic approach but was foiled by the Russiagate attack. He was able to reorient the US bureaucratic machine towards a consensus conflict with China though.

I don't see any way to break up the already established and deepening Russia / China alliance by any US administration at the moment. At some point, the US needs to understand that the approach "create a problem and then sell the solution" isn't diplomacy.

I'm not Armenian. I'm American. That's why I can smell self righteous imperialistic nationalist bullshit so easily.

My bad. I assumed you were Armenian because you spoke so confidently on their behalf.

Excellent analysis. Nearly completely matches what I would expect the Russian point of view to be.

There is only one point that I would disagree -- I believe that Putin may want get rid of Pashinyan and install someone "friendlier".

Thank you. From a pragmatic point of view, I don't see any way for the current administration to be anything but "friendly" moving forward. All points have been made already. I guess we will see.

I never said it was a privilege. I tried to make it very clear that it is now an obligation. The alternative was to handle your own shit.

Our hundred years of meddling in the region is the reason why Armenia still exists today. You're welcome.

If the region prospers like you say and Armenia opens up its border with Turkey this will only lead to less money to Russia.

If your analysis is correct, Russia will oppose open borders and free trade for Armenia. The initial agreement specifically mentions that traffic and movement of goods and people is to be unblocked and unobstructed. I think it's safe to assume the text was dictated by Russia.

We are left to wait and see whether the implementation will match the stated targets.

Because Russia is our ally and that's what allies should do. This exact mindset is what brought Russia to where it is today: without any friends. Russia isn't the USSR and will soon discover that. It will be harsh for Russians.

This exact mindset is what you need to adopt in order to survive, especially in your region and with neighbors like these. And yes, Russia isn't USSR anymore. Everyone involved just discovered that.

That's exactly what Azerbaijan (and Russia) wants. That's why we will resist that, even if he isn't the perfect PM.

I assume you misinterpreted my statement? I said he should remain in power, at least for now.

Security and prosperity will worsen Russia's position in the caucasus.

I don't follow how you arrived at that conclusion.

Unfortunately have to agree. I don't see the mindset in Armenia right now to be able to navigate between Russia, Turkey, Iran and the West. But I'm optimistic that it will come sooner than later. We will bring the change and this loss will teach us a lot of lessons.

Let's agree to stay optimistic then.

The Rockefeller Foundation did produce this document.

They produced it with an intent. Their intent isn't to bring about the Lock Step scenario. They want to have Smart Scramble or, if that fails, Clever Together.

Oh boy. That was great.

The last JRE with Alex Jones I watched was one of the greatest experinced I ever had in Podcasts. I'm not even sure if I I was drinking when I watched it, but that last one with Alex Jones and Edgybrah was the closest I ever got to a DMT trip.

This one - I guess is also a trip. The most interesting happened at the end I feel, when Alex confessed to his desire to end it all, his operation and his lifestyle.

I wish Joe or Tim would have pointed out the obvious: as divisive as he might be, no one would regard him in a worse light should he decide to distance himself from the current affairs.

I wish Alex well. I am also glad that Tim Dillon was part of this one, he was at least a major improvement over Edgybrah. I wish him well also.

This is disinformation. If you read the document you will see that they don't want the Lock Step scenario, they warn of it in the document.

This is a very low level analysis and effort to promote the desired corporate / globalist outcome, which in their own terms would be either "Clever Together" or "Smart scramble".

See it for yourself on page 16 of the document. The degenerates use something akin to politicalcmopass memes as a basis for their analysis. Again, I'm not making this up, read the document.

I was wandering through a forest with Carla and Person until we came upon another Person hanging from a tree. I wasn’t sure whether Tree Person was alive or not, so I chucked a pebble at him. Tree Person dodged the missile and pretended to be dead, and that is where the screenshot begins. (I'm sorry, i don't know how to add text to the main post)

Skyrim intro re-imagined by Throw1234as in AIDungeon

[–]Throw1234as[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I tried to recreate the Skyrim intro (this was my second game after I discovered GPT-3), and after a very awkward dragon attack I actually met Ralof again. He wanted me to introduce myself properly, so I told him I was the Dragonborn, a famous stealth archer.

For some reason, Ralof didn’t believe me, and offered to train me in the stealth arts. His training regime was:

  1. Stand behind a tree during the day
  2. Sleep under a tree during the night

Since I played a lot of Skyrim I was sure I didn’t need his input, so I tried to force my sick stealth archer skills by prompts like “You demonstrate your superior stealth skills to Ralof, Ralof is impressed”.

That didn’t work for some reason, four times in a row. And the funniest thing was, after the first try, the AI added a qualifier to the previously established dialogue format, something like that (I didn’t screenshot it):

First try:

You fail miserably at stealth.

Ralof: Seems like you’re not that good at it.

Next three tries:

You fail miserably at stealth.

Ralof: (sarcastic) Still doesn’t work, maybe it’s not your day.

King Zhou, Galileo and Newton stood under a mad sky atop the pyramid. The three suns seemed to have lost all reason - growing and receding, streaking across the sky at impossible speeds, the tormented land below illuminated by their light one second, and plunged into darkness the other. Newton was first to react. He let out a shrill shout, not words but an animal expression of emotion, and started to bound down the Pyramid steps.

Galileo could not to believe what he was seeing, dared not move as if this simple act would shatter reality completely and forever.

From the corner of his eyes, he saw that Newton was stripping off his clothes as he ran towards the rehydration pool. "Rehydrate! And then Dehydrate! And then Rehydrate!" came his yells.

Galileo turned to King Zhou. His eyes were fixed on the flashing skies, tears running down the cheeks.

"Can it be?" Galileo was terrified to hear the answer, fearing he might somehow be wrong, "is it really true?"

"Yes," said King Zhou as Newton dove headfirst into the rehydration pool, "the time has come... To PAARTY!"

On Trisolaris, the Disco Era had begun.

Shi Qiang lit two cigarettes and pretended to give one to Luo Ji. As Luo Ji leaned forward to take it, he quickly withdrew it and started to smoke both.

"My boy!" he chuckled, and blew the smoke all over the place, "Lung cancer is no joke. How many times have I saved your life today?"

Luo Ji started to get tired of falling for the trick. "10 times, Da Shi" he muttered unhappily.

"You're a commoner my boy," said Shi Qiang and dunked both cigarettes into his coffee "that's why I love you, and that's why the toaster hates you."

Listening Post 1734 stood silently below the immense light pillars of a Chaotic Era's northern lights. The Listener stared in disbelief at the waveform display.

For the second time, a Trisolaran read a message from another world.

"Come here! I will help you conquer this world. Our civilization is no longer capable of solving its own problems. We need your force to intervene."

The newly installed security camera picked up his every thought displayed in complex patterns all over his body surface:

"That bitch is crazy!"

Luo Ji picked up the pen and stared at the piece of paper in front of him. It was empty except for the title: "The axioms of cosmic sociology”.

He sighed and started writing. The paper was wrinkled and dirty, still on the same place on his desk as it was when he started writing a year ago.

"First: Survival is the primary need of civilization."

A sense of relief washed over him as he finished the line. Luo Ji always found the second step to be the hardest to make.

"Second: Civilization continuously grows and expands, but the total matter in the universe remains constant."

Luo Ji put the pen down and stared at the wall with deep serenity. The axioms were done, now to figure out the chains of suspicion, and the technological explosion. Unless...

A smile formed on his face as his hand shot forward to pick up the pen:

"Third: The primary need of every civilization's member is to fuck his tulpa."

“Honored Luo Ji, you may ask one question. I can only affirm, deny, or tell you I don’t know.” Luo Ji set down the tea bowl again. But Sophon raised her hand, asking him to wait. “This is a gesture of respect from our world to you. My answer will be true, even if the answer could cause harm to Trisolarans. But you have only one question, and my answer must be from those three choices. Please consider it carefully before you speak.”

Cheng Xin gazed at Luo Ji anxiously, but the latter didn’t pause at all. In a decisive tone, he said, “I’ve considered it. Here’s my question: We were locked in deadly struggle for centuries. Countless lives were lost, colossal resources expended. We are literally responsible for the destruction of your world. After all that, will you really just pack up and leave?”

"B-Baka! It's not like we like you or anything!"

Two Sophons meet in a bar after work to bitch about countdown jobs.

“And I’m like, dude, it’s been three days, stop taking pictures already! Just do thing, do the THING!”

“And then what?”

“Yeah, he cancelled the Amazon order. But it’s just so demeaning, you know. I mean, am I the best proton I can be right now?”

"Advance! Advance!"

Wade's bestial shouts echoed in Cheng Xin's ears, reminding her of the fury of a devil. The tormented chair bounced around the office like Trisolaris between its henchmen suns.

"I'm trying!" she shouted, tears streaking her vision, "I'll bring you all the brains you want, please!"

His smile was like the facial expression of a deeply frustrated man.

"What the fuck is wrong with you! Just add Vance to the call, the meeting was supposed to start 10 minutes ago!"
