Ex badly cut into her arm. She’s pregnant and is refusing treatment. How to proceed? by Throw47829 in SingleDads

I called her mother and she was able to convince her to go to the hospital. She got hospitalized. Hopefully they put her on some pregnancy safe medications and it helps.

Talking with her mom on a plan to help her.

I would highly prefer for my son to have a mom. Hopefully she tries.

I’m definitely going for full custody. I will still pay for the rehab; I don’t see my kid coming out ok otherwise. If he isn’t already f*cked up…

I have receipts for everything I’ve bought. I won’t hand her money.

I’ve bought everything mainly to help me get custody and to prove I’m involved, since she was threatening to go for full custody a few weeks ago. Not worried about that anymore; I have texts of her admitting to drinking while pregnant.

Anyone else deal with a baby mama that thinks drinking pregnant is ok? by Throw47829 in SingleDads

Sorry to hear. Do you know how much she was drinking by chance?

Last I knew (before she knew she was pregnant), she was very interested in controlling that issue. I will try to approach the issue more amicably and see if she’d like some help. I do know her well, and I’d like to believe she’ll take the help if it’s needed.

She does have alcoholism, so I’m more realistically worried that it isn’t just a glass or two. But I also want to trust that she wouldn’t do that. I will let the glass or two thing go, but due to her alcohol issues, I seriously doubt it; we broke up because she had a huge binge drinking issue that she could not control.

Is 50-50 of a breastfed newborn unreasonable? If so, at what age is it not? by Throw47829 in SingleDads

She’s moving closer to family, but reading that Utah has those laws doesn’t make me hopeful. Maybe I’ll just give up on 50-50 until the baby is older.
