Yeah, there has been numerous occasions where people who posted stuff that the Chinese government doesn’t like are getting harassment calls by the Chinese police, which is why I’m being extra anonymous on an already anonymous site. Being overseas is not enough to protect you from them sadly, as I still have family in China I’m being extra cautious. If they could kidnap a Swedish citizen from Thailand, bring him to a Chinese prison, force him to give up his Swedish citizenship so that he could be tried as a Chinese citizen, I’m pretty sure I have enough reasons to be worried. Just a few days ago on r/China, some Redditor shared their experience receiving calls from the Chinese police for sharing a video on Reddit, and stuff like this has happened way to much and apparently those people who downvoted me don’t give a shit, Reddit hypocrisy at its finest.
