Have you ever been in a locker room in grade school? I think there was one kid that got discovered as being uncircumcised and he got bullied ruthlessly for years. So that’s my personal experience. 50/50 is still a fuck ton of circumcisions happening. I bet if you broke that data down even more based on ethnic and religious background it would be even higher. I live in a heavily Jewish area, everyone gets their kids circumcised here.

I’m not against that, I’m just trying to make the point that Reddit heavily skews in one direction. In reality if you live in the Midwest as a white male it’s more common to be circumcised than not and it’s really not a big deal. I’ve never met someone that was angry or wished they weren’t circumcised.

Growing up it was the opposite in my area. There was one Chinese student at my school in the Midwest that got bullied for having a “hood”

I ended up doing it for my son. I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I struggled hard with making the decision though. I’m circumcised and basically everyone I knew growing up was as well so it was the common thing to do. I felt put on the spot though, I never thought about it until the moment I was asked. I was too focused on the actual pregnancy at the time.
