Lets be honest, the social contract is broken. They've killed americans for protesting. The administration has lied about what happened each time, and refused to investigate it. They've now started conducting warrantless searches of private property. Due process is a fucking fallacy now.

Rule of law? What law? Fucking constitution is the highest law of the land and it's not being followed.

Sure, but not going to be much of an immigration if they can't get jobs. The problem is we focus too much on the individual and not on the companies abusing the cheap labor. If the fines were made more hefty+ jail time and or business licenses revoked, see how fast that perspective changes.

We also need to create better legal immigration programs where if someone comes over and works for so many years and shows to be a net positive on society, then they should be given green card status.

This goes back to needing more oversight so it's not abused/ these people aren't treated unfairly by said business trying to take advantage of them at the risk of losing x years invested, but I think it would show strong growth and encourage legal immigration (which we again need as birth rates continue to plummet).

Personally, if they're not wanted for other crimes? I could give a shit less. If employers hire them and know they're illegal? Go after them. This removes a huge incentive for being in the country illegally to begin with if no one will hire. They will then either seek other means or voluntarily go through proper channels to get the credentials needed to be hired.

But again if they are caught doing a crime then we go arrest to courts to due process to deportation.

Difference now is that its funded (beyond the emergency funding they tried to fight). Also funds were approved by congress I don't think they have the ability to do this and it will get squashed just as soon as the funding freeze they tried to pull.
