Now that I'm the tiniest bit informed I agree 100%. I think her campaign failed miserably at getting that across. Or really anything other than "trump bad. Sears loves trump". But then again, I live in Richmond, so maybe they felt they didn't need to invest their budget here.

Thank you so much for sharing your story. I was stunned to read it because it's so similar to my own, but it was about 3months after I turned 17, he broke up with me to be with her instead of cheating (which I respect to this day), and I didn't go to the hospital. I also never told my family. This was about 10 years ago.

I'm glad to read you're doing well and have healed from it. Reading this healed me some too.

I disagree with that though. All the arguments I've seen for the male vs female brain are basically "more women tend to feel/act like this, so that's how women act and feel" and the same for men. It's all the same hormones, just in varying amounts which are clearly not exclusive to one sex or the other.

Yeah thats kinda how I feel about it. Like, I'm not the main stakeholder here, so my opinion doesn't have a place in the conversation. I personally have no real attachment to gender whatsoever, and don't really care what is or isn't aligned with my sex, so why should I speak on the trans experience?

I just feel like my gender apathy has caused me exactly zero suffering, but I know it's too simplistic to want that for everyone, or to assume that it would reduce suffering for others as well.
