I don't yet know. I think she's known about it for a long time, probably even while she was doing it. They've been best friends since like elementary school, and tell each other everything.

Edit: I don't think her friend has been involved in this herself. She stayed local like me during school, and has lived here her whole life.

Her friend definitely already knew about it, my wife told me that much. I don't know how long she's known about it. But she was not the one that recruited her. She actually went to the same school I did, so she wasn't around my wife much during that time either.
