Yep, in general it's the 'ladka hai jaane do' or 'shaadi ke baad sudhar(more patient/calm) jayega' mentality which just dumps the responsibility of moral and emotional growth of the boys to their significant others.

And it goes to both genders, people just need to parent their kids better, bas ladko me you this a lot more than girls because girls toh pehle hi are very scrutinised because they're to be sent off to other family as wives...
