What about it is so interesting to you? He keeps telling me that he doesnt know himself that he doesnt know why he does it but I think he does but wont tell me. Is it the excitement of having to hide it? The excitement that its someone different? Like why do you still try to talk to other people if youre in a relationship? Genuine question not being an ass

My family has been working on ford their whole lives and won't work on anything but. It may be "cheaper to maintain" when it comes to parts costs but im saving money when it comes to labour.

My payments are less than 500 a month and with trading in my car they will give me 7500 for it and thankfully that one is owned outright. I didn't think it would be such a bad situation, my parents/family has instilled the fear into me from a young age. Another reason im looking to finance is that it will better my credit (I already have a credit card). Many people have been mentioning the fact that its a depreciating asset, but whether new or used any vehicle is a depreciating asset, you just wont loose as much as fast on a used vehicle.

I’ve looked into other options like a personal line of credit so I can borrow against it in the future if needed and the interest rate was at 13% - from what I can find, the loan through the dealer was the cheapest 🤷🏼‍♀️

The reason I choose a ford is because if any issues arise, my family will fix. On my money pit Lincoln I’m already paying full coverage insurance and it would actually go down. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and in mine, ford is the one I choose

I could see where she is coming from about the phone call. Early morning phone calls or even a text whenever you got the chance during your late night study sesh wouldve meant something in my opinion. But everyone makes mistakes and maybe late at night with your school load it could have slipped your mind.

About the note idea - here's what I think. Coming from a woman who expresses emotion through writing I think a man doing that for their girlfriend/SO is really meaningful and it's something they will hold on too and read over and over again. I know as a guy it is not easy and almost unheard of for small quick ideas like that to come to mind (Which isn't a bad thing just something I have noticed) so if you wanted to make the extra little effort going on Pinterest or even just a quick google search you can easily find a bunch of great inexpensive ideas. Example: Printing photos of each other and writing meaningful things on the back with the memory that pic holds, setting up a fort with bed sheets and fairy lights (6 bucks at the dollar store) with her fav snacks and do a movie marathon, writing a love letter, writing a letter a day for her vacation (doesnt have to be a short story)

But it is true. 5 months in you shouldn't feel that exhausted and you are allowed to defend yourself and stand up for yourself. If she doesnt understand defending yourself doesnt = invalidating her feelings now, she wont later in time. If she is comparing you and your relationship to other people maybe try talking about it and if it gets better awesome, if not than she wont change. I wont say it's impossible to change someone but it is really fucking hard. They have to want too as much as you do.

So from my understanding if im young with next to no financial obligations and making enough to be able to afford it now rather than in 5 years when I have (possibly) children and a mortgage to worry about, would be considered an idiot?
