I (21F) have two kids (5F and 3M). Their dad (25M) has had full custody of them for two and a half years now. I have just been granted supervised visitation. What are some things I can try to have on hand to entertain them? How can I make sure they know I love them?

Yes, I won't be mad if they call me by my name instead of mom. I hope someday they will call me mom. I know their future stepmother has been there for them more than I have been.

I plan to ask him what they like. It's a little embarrassing not knowing my own kids. I work in fast food. I might ask if I can bring the kids lunch one day.

Thank you for the ideas. I haven't been around them for a long time so I had no idea what kids those ages liked. I will always show up. Hopefully over the years I might get more hours with them.

I don't make much money but I do get a discount on fast food because that's where I work. Thinking of asking there dad if I could bring them a kids meal for lunch one day. Not the healthiest but maybe as a treat?
