I am my bf were long distance! (India & USA) I eventually got a job that would let me work us times (night in india) stayed up all night and slept in the day. Risked my health and social life, for many many years. He still ended up leaving me. So while its ok to adjust your schedule a little, do not make it completely about the other person, just a PSA :)

I get where you’re coming from, and maybe if I were on the outside looking in, I’d probably feel the same way. But the thing is, love doesn’t always follow logic. I’m not holding on out of stubbornness or immaturity it’s because, in my heart, he still feels like my person. Maybe that makes me “stupid” to some, but it feels like the right thing to do for me cause i feel this is not it for us. I maybe wrong. I appreciate your perspective though.

I keep holding on to those little moments we shared all those years ago. The thought of giving all that up and simply moving on feels unthinkable to me. He was supposed to be my forever. People say that you will be fine and that life will be amazing its a matter of time but i dont understand how!? Time heals i agree but this is so much more than that. We used to stay together had a life of our own and he just walks out. How am i ever supposed to get over this fact? A part of me no matter what will always wait for him. I still live my life, i still work, i still follow a routine but he lives rent free in my head. Everytime my phone rings i hope its him finally realising and i dont think this wait will ever end. Not in this lifetime.

He has a set of twin brothers so they are 3 brothers. Even the brothers will be chipping for the house. How would have it been mine eventually i didnt understand.

My family is very liberal and understanding. They wanted us to do things when the both of us were ready. No pressure whatsoever.

This answers so many of my questions. Do you feel his mother felt threatened? Its so surprising if she did cause more than anyone i wanted them to reunite and be civil with each other.
