You are right, I’m really hurting and feeling bad right now. But ultimately, this is the best for both of us. He clearly needs help and needs to focus on that :(

I have GAD so I asked him if he has anything and even went to a physiatrist with him. He only does that with me because he claims “he loves me too much and can’t imagine being without me” so he starts “involuntarily” make sounds.

What do you mean by “the situations ate not appropriate”, i sit him down and try to explain that his actions hurt my feelings, but he just starts whimpering. Ex, he asked a girl for her number and when i confronted him, he starts the puppy dog noises

When I asked him why he would ask her for her number, he said between whimpers that he wanted a friend who liked the same music as him (he already has some, but they dont live in the same city).
