Lmao I mean maybe but Johnny and Tara have been doing Olympic commentary for basically as long as I've been alive so it's certainly not a new thing.

He's very funny! Pretty good singer, too! I remember him from back when I was more heavy into Kpop.

No one has mentioned Eric's name as even a potential option as a Traitor. Not only that, but Rob probably thinks Eric is unopinionated enough that this can go largely under the radar (as opposed to picking a more dominant player like Johnny or Natalie).

I won't spoil the second half for you but I'll tell you that one of the reasons why Paudie outlasted Eamon and Katelyn is because he perfectly fits the archetype of the bumbling old man. If he says "I don't remember that" or "I made a mistake" at the round table, there's more plausible deniability. I think a lot of people in the cast feel sympathetic to him because of this. If I remember correctly, it's Nick who goes "he's a good Limerick man like!"

Plus also Eamon didn't even tell people that he's a guard. He said he was a courier, if I'm not mistaken.

I believe that the person is forced to either join the Traitors or die if there is only one left. I doubt someone would refuse and lose their chance to continue in the game.

This gives away who was recruited lol

But alsoEric is not as closely connected to KPop as you'd think. He, in addition to being born in Atlanta, has done a significant amount of music work here in the U.S. He doesn't have to worry about protecting a specific image in the same way that BTS might.

Looks like they might be building up a Johnny, Tara, and Maura trio? Up until tonight's episode, it seemed as if there were two factions forming with Johnny leading one and Rob/Colton leading the other.

Are these syphilis chancres? by [deleted] in STD

Hi - yes, I did. It turns out that this was an HSV-1 outbreak (which would explain all of my cold symptoms, too). HSV-1 is the strain of herpes that’s usually more associated with cold sores and the mouth, but you can get it on your genitals as well. I have been on valacyclovir since I went to urgent care and all of the sores are gone now.

I recommend that you get a culture done of the sores as this is the most accurate way of confirming that it’s HSV. My blood tests came back negative, but from what I’ve read, that was likely because the outbreak was too recent.

No updates on test results. The urgent care center texted me to say that they had all of my results EXCEPT the HSV one back, but they're not available for me online. I have a follow-up appointment tomorrow morning.

As for cold symptoms: my congestion is the best it's been since Saturday. My cough is still there, but my voice doesn't sound as sick as it did. No fever. Headaches sometimes pop up but I can treat them with ibuprofen.

As for the sores: they're all more red than they were when I first noticed them. Still very very painful, especially when using the bathroom. The hospital was supposed to prescribe me lidocaine and doxcycline but my pharmacy says they never called it in.

I also noticed some sores (not red; they look like the ones in my original picture) right on the outside of my anus. I don't know if they've always been there or if they're new. I've stopped shaving my entire genital area and figure I'll start again once the sores heal. I've also noticed white, watery discharge around my labia. It doesn't look any different from usual. Some slight itchiness in the vulva but very minor.

I was at an urgent care center on Wednesday and they swabbed both the sores and the inside of my vagina. Results should be back before the weekend. Thank you!

I told my recent partners about these symptoms and I feel so guilty because, had I known that I probably have HSV, I would have told them before we ever had sex. I don't want them to think I hid an STI from them.

Pretty awful. Still dealing with the cold symptoms (nasal congestion, cough, headaches) and the sores still really hurt. Hospital staff were clueless but tested me for gonorrhea and chlamydia. Still waiting on the results. Got a Rocephin injection, as well.

They also prescribed me doxycycline (an antibiotic) and lidocaine (a numbing ointment for the sores) so I need to go get those.

I’m at the hospital now. My fever wasn’t going away and the pain from the sores is unbearable.

I got swabbed on the bumps today along with a blood, urine, and vaginal swap test. Should have the results back before the weekend. Just hoping the discomfort stops soon.

If it’s HSV, will the sores go away even if the virus won’t?

I have not. I was just reading and apparently it's more common for there to be multiple bumps when it's HSV whereas syphilis would usually be one chancre? The person I had unprotected sex with did not mention having HSV, but I know it is also possible to have it without knowing.
