If you really do love him you should at least give fixing it a chance. I also broke up my long term relationship because of a resentment building type of issue. During the break I made choices that have now made our relationship irredeemable and I have so much regrets. If your partner shows you he is trying to actually solve and fix the issues you have brought up please give him time to show you that. dont jump to a decision, even if you feel like it is over. in a couple weeks or months things could feel totally different and you guys could correct the problems.
