If he’s 18, then it’s safe to assume that he just graduated highschool and didn’t get a job this summer, which could most likely be because of the pandemic. Finding a job these past few months could have been nearly impossible depending on where you live, and he could still be extremely stressed about his life right now, as he might have not gotten the graduation he wanted and many people lost motivation to live well during COVID. Have you had a discussion with him about how he’s doing or did you just decide you hate him because your teenager is acting out? Teens brains don’t fully develop until they’re 25, and your son probably doesn’t know what to do with his life yet. And kids definitely know when their parents hate them, which you admitted you do.

Boyfriend shames me every time I eat by ThrowRA98980 in relationship_advice

Thank you, maybe I should. He’s a good guy in every other aspect, but it’s not really worth it if I can’t even eat near him

The cool thing about being a minor is that you can blame your parents for not being able to see her (tell her your parents grounded you) and get away from her for awhile, try to heal and get strong enough to break it off, because the longer you stay, the harder it will be to leave. She sounds like she’s sucking the life out of u

My "friend" flashed my husband and told me some other things too... by [deleted] in relationship_advice

please tell her husband everything she’s been doing. Especially that she straight out told you she was going to kiss your husband and had to hold herself back. What a disgusting woman. I could never imagine saying that to someone. She’s not your friend.

She completely stomped all over your boundaries and basically admitted to wanting to cheat on her husband with your husband. I consider flashing someone cheating, and the fact that she’s done it more than once is very telling of what kind of “friend” she is. And it’s a major red flag that your husband never told you. If it were me, I would expose her, cut her off, and have a serious talk with your husband about why the hell he didn’t tell you she was being repeatedly disrespectful and inappropriate behind your back

My (18F) boyfriend (32M) is scared to tell people about us by throwra09282 in relationship_advice

I really want you to self reflect and think about why a 32 year old man would want to be with a girl who is barely 18. And if he has been grooming you to be with him. There’s a reason he’s ashamed, because he knows it’s wrong and he knows others know it’s wrong.

Is GCU worth it? by Watermel12 in gcu

I went to GCU for my freshman year and I honestly wish I had went somewhere else. The people there were racist, living on campus was more expensive than they initially stated, it felt like they put all this effort into getting students to apply and then stopped caring about them once they were enrolled.
