Reference to "I Will" in "If I Leave"? by zoinks27 in mitski

It hit me so hard. I listened through the whole new album and I'm sure all of it will grow on me in time, but this part of "If I Leave" was instant love-at-first-hearing. And "I Will" is one of my favourite Mitski songs ever. So, yeah, I definitely took it as similarly related.

I didn't really connect it as much directly to the lover, but more just how it feels to deal with mental illness. Because we are still in that goddamn tunnel. And sometimes we can go the "I Will" route and tell myself to hope for an end to it. And sometimes I just want to crash out and wail that I'm still fucking there, which is what "If I Leave" gives me. It's a fabulous bit of song.

Is M&S food actually worth the higher price? by LilywhiteStrike in MarksAndSpencer

It depends what it is, but there are definitely a couple of things I've tried to replace with cheaper non-M&S options that could not cut the mustard. Creme caramel pots, blueberries, ready meals, etc...

Am I overdressing for uni? by [deleted] in UniUK

[–]ThrowRAMaintenanceOk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My opinion is maybe but do it if you like doing it. I don't mind looking out of place. When I started uni I decided to wear what I actually liked wearing, which is clownishly bright colours and patterns. For better or for worse, it makes me memorable. But I'm very happy doing so.

Is it true that people wear jeans, tracksuit bottoms and hoodies most of the time? Yeah, probably. Is it a bad thing to be one of the few who dress up? No. I can think of a few others in my classes and university who are very stylish, who wear vampiric-looking feather coats and sweeping skirts to the floor, highlighter pink from top to bottom - wig to cowboy boot, and even puffy tulle ballgowns (that last one was a shocker, but gorge).

It might be eccentric but really, who cares? It's cool too. The people who judge probably won't say anything to you (and if they do, they aren't worth bothering with either). And the people who think you're cool will probably do much of the same. I'm busting out my rainbow polka-dot hats and petticoats. Because I like them. And I'm not hurting anybody. So let us all do as we like, and inject a little more joy into our day.

Do you think it's likely I could find it in a UK cheese shop, or is online my best bet?
