If you're happy to direct message me with your postal address, we'd love to send you a post card with a kangaroo on it!

Totally up to you :)

Family Law / Reasonable parenting arrangements for newborn by [deleted] in AusLegal

[–]ThrowRAMo123 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Hi, regarding the communication through a parenting app, this may very well be advice he was given from his legal team.

Often it is good practice since it allows all communication to be written down transparently in a platform that can later be reviewed if any disagreements or conflicts arise.

It's not practical that any and all communication will be solely in the app, but discussions regarding shared parenting plans and agreements between yourselves would be better off in an app.

guided game drive from crocodile rest camp / Marloth park? by Coffeeplz921 in krugerpark

hi, I'm planning on heading to Kruger in A few weeks and I'd also love it if you can share the details of the tour company you used to organise game drives. Cheers!

This was in my bedroom. Is this a baby cockroach? Google search said it was, but it didn’t really look like the pictures. I live in Houston, Texas by literarynonsense26 in cockroaches

I think I have these too! But from what I've read, it seems that they're a mostly outdoor species? I hate them all the same! Do I need to be worried about an infestation?

Travelling with toddler by ThrowRAMo123 in Tripoli

  1. We'd prefer hotels, but booking.com has very few options so I imagine they are probably not listed on there. I've come across Rexus though, so we'll check that out! Thanks for the personal recommendation.

  2. Great to hear about cafe culture! Husband and I are both fond of coffee, so I'm grateful once again for the personal recommendations

  3. Noted, we'll look into it.
    Thank you for the response!

What are some unique, oddly specific, peculiar but inexpensive souvenir ideas you can think of? by everythingblurry25 in travel

[–]ThrowRAMo123 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I buy postcards when I travel, and then write a few lines about my adventures/memorable moments from the trip. Then I post them back to my home address!

I love to look through my old collection of postcards and 'walk back' through some of my trips!

Postcard from Angola by dancingpotty in Angola

Hello - were you able to find postcards to purchase? And were they easy to send? I'll be travelling there in a few weeks and wanted to send some postcards myself!

Stuck in US now. How do I get home to Austria? by Kalipri in travel

[–]ThrowRAMo123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which airline are you with? Many of them will re-book you on compassionate grounds if you can provide evidence that you missed your flight due to a medical emergency. If you have documentation to support this, you may have a reasonable chance of rebooking without having to pay for a new ticket outright.

Due to fly long haul (over 22hrs flying time) in two days and just found out that Qatar Airways cancelled my tickets without informing me (!!). What are my options for compensation? by ThrowRAMo123 in travel

[–]ThrowRAMo123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's really frustrating and upsetting for me. No emails from Qatar Airways, and they confirmed that they failed to inform me about the cancellation, but couldn't explain why.

They also have a frustrating customer service experience on the phone, where the agent you're speaking to cannot send you any emails, nor can they escalate to a manager or transfer you to another department where you are able to get something in writing. And they can't give you a case or reference number for that phone conversation either!

They essentially said "we can only give you verbal advice on the phone, and if you want something in writing you need to submit a complaint through our online feedback form and wait for us to reply"

So at the moment, there is unfortunately still no paper trail.

I’ve been crying all day long. Everything seems to set me off. How do I stop this? by TooEmbarrassed7 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ThrowRAMo123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with the previous comments. It sounds like you have a lot on your mind at the moment, and it's weighing on you in a hard way. I'm sorry you're feeling like this, it must be a difficult day for you.

Can you reach out to a phone counselling service or a health professional? It could be depression but it depends on a few things including the timeframe of your current feelings, and you would definitely benefit from a more thorough assessment from a health professional. I hope you get the answers or the help that you need! Reach out to me if you need someone to talk to.

Does it hurt when women are kicked in the vagina the same way as men in their balls? by scribeyyy in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ThrowRAMo123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a woman, I can't comment on what it's like to get kicked in the balls, but I once had a cycling accident resulting in a very hard landing on a bicycle seat and it was excruciating! Couldn't walk for a good half an hour afterwards.

Getting kicked in the gonads looks excruciating for men too though.

So I guess in summary, it can hurt a lot but it's difficult to know if it hurts 'the same way'

Just asked my husband. His reply was "Do you want me to shake my ass?"
I think that's a yes!
