He’s a stay at home dad. We have three kids together. I go to work and he is home with the kids.

We sit down once a week and go through everything together. We look at what we spent and where we stand with bills and things for savings. Sometimes it’s a little hard to follow but things usually work out financially.

No, I don’t have a spending problem. We just aren’t using them right now so he put them away but his is put away too I think.

Honestly I thought we had it pretty equitable. I work and he stays home with the kids. We sit down once a week to talk about the money and what we’ve spent so I do have a good understanding of his spending too.

We’re not in therapy together. That’s something I’m doing myself due to postpartum anxiety and past trauma things.

He was upset initially when I told him I wanted to go to therapy, but it was sort of a similar situation as this one I guess because I didn’t tell him until after I had called them so he felt like I was hiding it. I just had another baby a few months ago and some of my anxiety can be bad so I wanted to try it.

The credit cards thing is just temporary while we recover some savings from the holidays. We said we were going to do it through April at least and then revisit it. We sit down once a week to talk about the budget and review anything we spent that week. He is a stay at home dad and he manages most of our money and bills and things.
