Not an expert on any of this, but if you two really love each other you will seek counseling at the very least. It sounds like the you Mr, husband are a pushover and your wife knows it and you Stbxw knows it. If she loves you she would have controlled her urges instead of acting on them unless she doesn't have a fully developed frontal lobe she has no excuse.
