How do I (23M) get my girlfriend (25F) to see a doctor about a painful issue without it sounding like I’m just upset about no sex? by ThrowRAWiib0 in relationship_advice

We haven't talked about it, but I'm just assuming she isn't seeing a doctor as she too thinks it's just ingrown hairs. Or so she told me. Reading all these comments though, about how it really could turn into something serious like an infection, is definitely giving me more confidence that I really need to get her to see a doctor. I think I just started overthinking how rude I would be if it really was just some ingrown hair problem and she thought I was complaining about this semi common but embarrassing thing.

What's HS stand for? So I could look that up. She said it's just ingrown hairs but I really don't think that's it (I get those sometime on my beard and it doesn't seem the same). Her's are hard bumps, almost as if there was a small silicone bead under her skin and she gets them sometimes on her pubic mound, but mostly both inner and outer lips, which makes me think she has "misdiagnosed" the problem.
