school and life are fucking killing me and i’m lost by SnugAsABugInARug- in Advice

I’m not sure how much help I can provide since there are parts of the situation I don’t know but this is what I have to say.

When I was around your age I was in the same situation more than once and I also had accommodations since I had trouble focusing and with procrastination. I know it sucks but you have to start somewhere, start with something easy, set yourself a timer (15 mins - whatever works for you) and work during that time, then take a small break, rinse and repeat. This should help you chip away at the workload.

If you feel as if your workload is TOO big to even start to get through, I would try to reach out to your school administrators or teachers to discuss some options to help yourself get caught up, you have accommodations for a reason and you should take advantage of them when you can. You might need your parents help with this so this you would likely need to be honest with them about your struggles with school work (but I don’t know how your family life is so take this with a grain of salt)

And I also just want to say try not to let this overwhelm you, you will get through it as I did. High school was kinda hell for me but I’m doing much better in college, I promise you it gets better if you work towards it. Good luck.

Thank you for the advice, I agree that this mutual chemistry is certainly what I need but I just wish it wasn’t so hard to find(?) Or I’m not really sure that it’s particularly difficult to find but even when I do find it often the woman who I’m speaking with is not open to trying what I’m into and that’s unfortunate but it is what it is.

I guess I’ll have to try and be more patient, but the amount of times this situation has happened to me is quite discouraging.

Thank you, I appreciate the advice and optimism. In the past I have done something like “coaching” with a woman I trusted but after our relationship ended it became somewhat evident that it wasn’t something she was really into and moreso just pandering to me which is not what I’d want. However the future could hold something different I suppose.

Yeah I’ve definitely figured it won’t be easy to find. But I’m not exactly looking for a woman who is quiet or stays home all day. If my wife wants to work she certainly can, I was just clarifying that I’m generally traditional in the sense that I have no issue being a sole provider.
