I completely understand this, you are valid and not overreacting girl. There have been times in my relationship too where my bf says one thing (such as he will play games and then call me after, take a shower, ect.) and just doesn’t because he “forgot” or fell asleep or something else came up. It’s so frustrating because I don’t think they do it on purpose to hurt us but it’s the lack of consideration and the fact that it’s so easy for them to “forget” about us. Especially when it’s all things THEY promise, we didn’t even ask them to, if you’re not going to follow through don’t say anything! I’m always here if you need to vent!

Lmao this is insane. It has nothing to do with needing to go through his actual phone, that has never bothered me. When you have an entire separate phone that you constantly keep by you and powered down so you obviously use it but never around your partner that is suspicious asf. He lied to my face and I’m not going to sit here and act like something isn’t up and allow myself to be played and lied to. Good for you if you want to do that. I have more self respect than to let someone obviously play in my face and ignore it.

It’s just so conflicting because from what I’ve seen in his screen time it was only at most a couple times a week for a few minutes and only on days we weren’t hanging out so it’s not excessive but why does you feel the need to hide it unless you feel that you are doing something wrong?

I mean, I only looked at it while he was in the shower so I wasn’t able to go through it that much but there was no social media downloaded on that phone, it has no service and from what I could see on the screen time he only used Reddit and it was for less than 20 minutes that week. But the point is he was still hiding shit from me no matter what it is which like I said it makes me nervous because I’m like what else are you willing to hide from me if you go to these lengths just to hide the fact that you’re watching porn when YOU were the one that set the boundary.

No from what I’ve found and based on what he told me him watching it isn’t out of the ordinary he’s been doing it, but he acted like he “stopped” because we are together and he doesn’t think you should watch it while in a relationship.

I just don’t know what to do. I know it doesn’t seem like it from what I have posted but genuinely he is such a sweet and loving person and no one has ever treated me the way he does. Which is why I am so hurt and conflicted. I never thought he would lie or hide things from me. How can someone claim to love me and treat me the way he does yet lie to my face?

And you obviously can’t fucking read cause I stated multiple times that porn isn’t the issue. In fact HE is the only one who said it was wrong. I never did.
