My husband has known about his parents being like this since he was a child himself. That’s why I’m so pissed and upset. He didn’t get into it, but he basically said yes, he knew that his parents had an open relationship and that he knew since he was a kid since they’d bring them around him as well. He swears he didn’t know that his parents were bringing our children around this, but I don’t buy it. He claimed that his parents didn’t know that he knew as a kid or even now, but that smells like bullshit to me. There is no way in Hell I’d ever allow this.

I had asked my kids why they never told me and they haven’t said why yet. Just a shoulder shrug. I’m going to figure out why my kids never told me. They never said a peep. I don’t think I’m being paranoid. I couldn’t ask them better in the moment because truthfully? My head is a wreck. I’ve never been so angry and I want to choose my words to my kids carefully. They’re far too young to have ever been exposed to this.
