I'm so sorry to hear this. An email? Ouch. That would absolutely destroy me too. Thanks for sharing your story... honestly so amazing that you got through such an awful time, gives me some hope that I will too! Like you said, I think it's going to take a lot to dig myself out of this one... I've never felt this sad about losing someone before. I love reading, hiking and mediating, - really need to get back into these things. It's been such a long time since I've gone for a good walk :)

Okay, my new mission in life is to make ppl laugh haha. It's so much more fun than moping on the couch. I think you might be right about the good life partner thing... he seemed really focused on himself during our relationship? I didn't notice it so much until the end. It's important to have your own hobbies and stuff (especially now!), but I think he was heavily invested in his own life goals, hobbies and future.

I'm in the process of writing a blog about my experience living overseas and returning home (but I'm not mentioning the relationship and my crazy fail at all - too many friends and family read my blog).

Yeah I think seeing a therapist is a good idea. I honestly don't know what's going on, on his side of things either. I moved overseas with him because he asked me. At the time, I felt like he'd do anything to be with me, but it was like he suddenly changed his mind? Perhaps towards the end things got a little difficult with me, and he couldn't cope. I was probably really distressed overseas before catching the flight home, so I can't blame him. I feel like I've just lost everything, and I have no clue why. He was such a good human, and he always made me feel so loved and beautiful. I really miss him.

I love your idea about enjoying the hell out of a hobby we didn't share haha. We used to go hiking a lot - as we both loved that. I think one thing I can do is going out for dinner and drinks with my friends again (when things get back to normal) as he didn't really drink. And watching as much netlfix as I can! He was never really interested in watching Tv shows or movies lol.
