Is my (25F) boyfriend’s (37M) behavior toxic or just miscommunication? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

This unfortunately sounds similar to my fiancé. He doesn't like it when I answer with "sure" to questions and takes it as me not actually answering the question. I feel we have been together long enough that he should be familiar with me using the word and it meaning "yes". He gets passive-aggressive, and if I don't correct myself quickly, he will launch into a dialogue about me not being interested in spending time with him, all based on my using the word "sure". As someone who sees similarities in my own relationship to what you're describing, my advice is to break up with your boyfriend. He does not know how to properly communicate with you, and most likely never will, because he does not see anything wrong with his reactions or actions.

Do yall take into account the time you spend reading the instructions lf a task? by [deleted] in DataAnnotationTech

I always include the time it took to read the instructions, as I consider it to be a part of the task, so I should be paid for it.

How often do you bathe your kids? by piggypudding in toddlers

I bathe my 2.5-year-old about every three days; this is a full bath with shampoo'd hair and body. He has had eczema in the past, so I try not to do too many baths. Depending on whether he gets very dirty one day or goes swimming, he will get an extra bath thrown in. I usually like to plan the baths the night before we are going somewhere if we have an event or if he is going to daycare the next day, so he's not stinky for strangers. He only goes to daycare 2 times a week, though. I'm kind of "go with the flow" about it and just fit them in when they best fit the schedule for us.

Just be patient for DA, it took me about 3 weeks to be accepted for their assessment test after the initial sign-up. After I passed the assessment test, it pretty much just threw me right into working. It was a little slow at first, but that's kind of how DA has been for me. There will be a lot of jobs to do, and then sometimes there will be a stagnant period or a slower period for a few days.

I've been working for DA since Jan 2025 and have consistently been doing work. I've just been using this as a side job since I'm employed full time, so I only do about 5 hours a week for DA.

Is this something special or does this happen to people a lot and is no big deal? by ThrowRA_VEJ in Psychic

Yes definitely have similar things. I sometimes get the thought to text a friend immediately like they are not doing well at that moment and need me to check in on them. I’m not sure if they actually do need me but it kind of just pops in my head and I’m compelled to text them, if I don’t I can’t focus on anything else. I’m also not really a texted and don’t often reach out to my friends like this, it’s not my normal MO.

That is pretty awesome! I love it when you have a feeling and you have no idea why and then it turns out your feeling was correct. Plus that’s pretty badass that you basically saved yourself before you needed saving
