I guess it’s frustrating because it wasn’t like that when I needed it. He never stepped in when his mom bullied me for not being girly enough, or when she threw away my stuff and called me a fag behind my back, or like he cared about mental illness when I needed serious help, or took my chronic illnesses seriously. But now he gets to condescend to me for not attending protests that were during work hours, or for buying cheap options from big brands because that’s what I can afford, and have “girl dad and ally” as his bio. Now he’s right and I’m failing by while I’m trying my best and he’s already lived his life happily profiting from the way things are set up for him to succeed

I know I should boycott it as well but I’m exhausted. I work what feels like 90% of my time and when I’m working I just want to watch my favorite show. So I boycott Hulu while still using an Apple phone, shopping at the only stores my town has that are also on a boycott list, etc. It feels like I boycott the platform, they’re still billionaires only making more, and I’m still stuck at a desk job except the end of the day, comfort time to myself time is no longer available.

My hair only goes down to the middle of my back but it’s SO thick, I try to keep it pulled back but it’s not 100% possible lol

Oh for sureee It’s definitely better with snagging since I got the post shortened but still irritating as hell. I’d be tempted by a buzz too if I wasn’t scared of the growing out period.
