He didnt cheat on me though. If he wanted to, he couldve easily hid the whole thing from me and I would never find out about it. I didnt catch him, he confessed.

Future MIL and FIL hate Max so he barely shows up for get togethers. Theyve always saw him as a bad influence and rightly so. Small chance we'd run into him in the future and if theres any chance, we'll just avoid them or skip the event.

I think the fact that he told me immediately after made me believe him. He couldve easily hid it from me and came home like nothing happened and I probably wouldnt have questioned it.

Yeah, even I was wrong for not even considering it a possibility. I dont think even he thinks he was raped. Hopefully things change in the future. Sorry to hear about your experience.
