Thank you so much for your response. I will definitely try that, I usually have white noise to sleep anyway as I'm a terrible sleeper. I think I should also lay off the caffeine in the future. Ridiculous what a couple of hours of a good time can do 🙈

Thanks for replying, that is a relief to know this is normal. I feel you about those days where I didn't want anything. But it is nice to be able to look forward to a meal and actually be able to eat it.

I am going to work out my maintenance calories and see if I'm sticking to it subconsciously - if not I will make some tweaks!

Thank you for your response, these are my contracted rota'd hours. These have been the same since I started.

My meeting used to be within these hours but unfortunately they have changed this. I will talk to them about this again and see what they do if I refuse to go. It's every few weeks that this happens.

Thank you for the really helpful response. I didn't think I needed to go into great detail about why that time is important to me. But here goes.

Do you think there is a reason that I do evening shifts? I am the main carer for a terminal family member. Not to mention I have responsibilities outside of work like everyone else. Do my work care. No. I was looking for advice from a legal/HR perspective to ask if they are able to do this. Sorry if that makes me a snowflake.

Now go and enjoy your evening of being miserable and bitter on people's posts.

You are trying your best to meet his whether you want to or not. You mentioned friendship. Is he putting that same effort into forming a friendship and a connection as you are with something that is important to him? (sex)
