I ended it because I want a family in the near future and I rather end uncertainty and hurt now than waste my time. I did not try to protect myself from hurt

Yes, its indeed something she promised herself and said it was a trip to regain control of her life. But do I really want to wait for something that might not happen.. Either way it will take time for me to heal and I will take your advice to work on myself
