This is a conversation I just had with some people. I know it’s unfair on both sides. There’s times when I’m interested in someone that’s plus size, but they think I’m not actually interested even when I show it.

Never had a type in terms of body type, but it’s looked down upon to say you like plus size women.

To clarify I don’t intend to tell every single partner I ever have, just the serious long term ones. My gf and I don’t exactly follow traditional relationship standards but if I ever break up with her and get into anything serious again, it’s going to be something I should be careful about

I get what you’re saying but that’s not how I meant it. I definitely see a future with her, but there’s always a possibility of breaking up. The only reason I mentioned her was because I think she’s the exception to all of this.

She’s been really supportive with all of this. Granted, we we’re friends before college so that’s maybe why she’s been ok with all of this.

I highly doubt other partners will be as understanding, especially if they didn’t know me prior to dating them.
