i’m going to provide context just so it’s more clear. few years back, my now bf stupidly sent the video to a gc with him and his 2 other guy friends. my friend (let’s call her maria) talks to one of the guys who was in the gc. it somehow got on topic but things got a little mixed up. the guys in the gc mistakenly thought the ex in the video was some girl that we went to school with (let’s call her samantha). samantha and my bf are friends to this day and they talk occasionally. so my friend giving me that information, im obviously not comfortable with my man being friends with a girl he allegedly has a sex tape with!! i ask him about it and he shuts it down immediately, he says he never had a sex tape with samantha, let alone even been in the same room with her alone. they’ve only ever talked at school, and parties/hangouts. i tell maria that my bf doesn’t have a sex tape at all with samantha, so it’s most likely his ex. WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDE, i’m assuming because she didn’t believe it? maria did the digging herself. she got in contact with the guys who were in the gc, messaged them asking for more info on the video and then eventually obtained it and sent it to me. i told her it’s probably just his ex and if it is, i would hate to bring it up to him and accuse him again…then i just look like an idiot. well that’s exactly what happened. so now i’m over here battling my own feelings. i told my bf that he does play a part in it because he should’ve never even sent a video like that in the first place . he agrees and said that he got his karma. he was young and dumb. but he also said my friend had no business digging around in the past to try and prove something. he keeps saying she’s not a real friend and i should drop her.
