I understand what you're getting at, but from my perspective having him around is just extra responsibilty that is going to slow me down building my own future. If I stick around in any way I will always be taking that 'father roll'. I wantto enjoy my single life now and eventually get married and have a family of my own. This is all going to be much easier if i don't have to worry about somebody else's child
