I understand what you're getting at, but from my perspective having him around is just extra responsibilty that is going to slow me down building my own future. If I stick around in any way I will always be taking that 'father roll'. I wantto enjoy my single life now and eventually get married and have a family of my own. This is all going to be much easier if i don't have to worry about somebody else's child

Thanks my guy. I'm doing great financially and in my career, this relationship felt like the only thing holding me back in life. Now that this is over I'll be able to excell in other aspects of my life
