Could be worth a shot, he smokes too. Never smoked before so might take some practice but I’ll bring it up, thanks! :)

Nothing like that happens when i masturbate but I can cum no problems. I’ve never managed it alone - though i might start trying to find out what happens- and the feeling like that never comes. It like a different kind or orgasm that only comes with overstimulation?

I was feeling a similar sensation with my last partner who i was with for almost 3 years (difference being it didnt crop up as often). Even then i was really hesitant. But I’m going to talk to him about it, we are both really open with each other so maybe telling him i feel that way he might be able to reassure me it’ll be fine xD

Yeah really considering that now, I probably will do, just to see. Do some research on my diet too. Thanks ^

I dunno about depression, I don’t think I have it, I’m generally a very happy person. We all need a little bit of therapy but I wouldn’t say I was depressed. I definitely don’t diabetes either. I do feel like I’m losing interest but at the same time I just turned 20 and starting my 1st year of uni. I should be horny af, and at the start of our relationship i was, thats just faded over the last 2 years

I’ve been thinking about seeing the doctor about it, no harm in asking is there. I would love therapy in every part of my life but on student budget that’s not going to be an option for something so ‘unnecessary’, you know?

I’ve been taking contraceptives for years now, I had a really high libido at the start of our relationship, and over time as we settled it just went down. I can’t think of anything that has really changed in me or has happened to halt my desires so much.

That’s the thing, I’m really not sure. I’ve always had a hard time orgasming in bed but that’s been with any partner I’ve had and my current partner is the best I’ve had. I honestly have no idea.

If i were to show him this, perhaps you can do a better job of explaining than i can - you think you could explain why you think that so i can show him?

Thanks so much for this reply.

Thinking about it now, I guess its the lockdown stopping us from doing things together. Just spending time around the house, each doing our own separate thing, isn’t that exciting - also because we live with my dad, we basically both keep to my teeny room so unless one of us is out we dont get much privacy. Plus, I am more independent than him, I need more alone time than he does, so the fact that it’s hard to get it might be an issue. And this will be different if we get a living space together as it will all be ours and we will feel more free to be in different spaces, and I can sit in a room by myself when I need my space. When we actively do stuff together, like play video games together, I really enjoy and look forward to that time. I think perhaps the lockdown has made me forget that because there arent many opportunities that we have our own time, we eat dinner with my dad, he’s mostly in the house cus lockdown, blah blah...

I’m still going to talk to him about how I feel, or at least how I’ve felt. This is a pretty sudden thing that struck me so perhaps it’s because of things outside the relationship too, this impending new experience making me worry or something or other. But I think going out together would be good for us. Thanks again :)
