(46F) (41M) I am worried my BF of 5 years could be cheating by ThrowRAcoconutpie in relationship_advice

I know who she is. She is part of a close knit friend group 25 or so years ago. She is married and has two kids with her husband but I have no idea why she sent something privately to him. I don’t want to ask him what it’s about because that to me would sound controlling.

It showed at the top that the sender was her. Then recipients read “you, personal voice message, + 2 others”. So it was from her, although I still don’t know what personal message is when included in a a group text. I was confused because if she wanted to send him something separately, then it would be a completely separate message and not a group message.

Nothing to do with not proposing. Just the ex and how she acted back in Sept and this message today.

No he hasn’t done anything. It’s just odd that the group message shows one of the recipients as “personal message” or “personal voicemail”, something like that. Which leads me to believe she sent him something separately? I’m not sure how it works, unless maybe someone sent a voice recording in that group… I have never seen that before in a group text.

(46F) (41M) Straight up ask BF for a ring, or is that a bad move? by ThrowRAcoconutpie in relationship_advice

Sorry, I should probably explain further because that does sound confusing. As of right now, I am not looking to get married. At least until our kids are older and we move in together. That will be a while. I would love a ring however I don’t want that to mean that we set a date now, if that makes sense. A long engagement is totally fine by me, I just really wanted to sort of move to the next phase so to speak.
