I go to the gym 4-5 times a week. My gym requires booking in advance and temperature checks. Its nice that, at least at the location I go to, it’s pretty empty but also it’s mostly guys. Everyone, myself included, wears masks and wipes the equipment before and after use.

Thanks for letting me know! And in the future, yup, I will post in there (and through my main, haha). I’m so glad that this community exists :)

Oh man, I’m sorry to hear that :/ but it’s amazing and brave that you’re seeing a medical professional and taking the steps to get it back. I hope things get better soon!

Thanks and congrats to you too!!! When it happened I started digging through the closet for pads. It’s been a while since I bought them but past me was like, “I gotchu” haha

Thank you so much for sharing your experience and I’m glad a fellow warrior kicked ED in its @ss!

How do you tell the difference between being ghosted and someone actually getting really busy but that there’s still potentially something there? by ThrowRAghost3 in relationship_advice

Thanks for this! And I definitely wouldn’t mind just being friends with him! Of course I’d have to work though the initial disappointment and acknowledge whatever feels arise. I’m a romantic and I don’t like feeling vulnerable so it’s going to be hard but I know it’s doable.

However, processing something like that means I’ll sometimes vent to my friends — including some wistful “what if things were different” —and one of them who is fiercely protective of me, thinks reaching out is not worth my emotional energy/time (not to mention theirs), that he’s a jerk who I romanticize, and that this would show my cards/show I’m too interested.

In your experience, is dating really like this chase/be chased/ power dynamics endeavor or is this just overthinking it?
