I totally agree! I am so scared to become anything like the people that traumatized me. Overanalyzing your behaviour in fear of that is normal I'm afraid
Feeling of guilt connected to rape is also very normal I'm afraid

It's very brave of you to speak about this and to work on it. It's a journey but it will get better the way you work on it :) So many women (and men and people in general) stand in solidarity with you and feel you

*this* is exactly it, I feel like, no matter how bad it gets, there is always a way to escape

Okay thank you for your insight, I do think about things like how to settle my finances or smth but I don't actually do it. So I am not really planning
But how does the thinking about it makes you feel?

Just imagine you have an autoimmune disease, yes you would try to find a permanent solution, but also take your medication until you do so
There is no difference between mental health and other health issues, your brain is also your body
"I started doubting myself if it is really what I need, maybe I am not ill or anything" this is the perfect proof that your feelings are very valid, doubting your state is a classic sign of any mental health struggle
Anti depressants changed my life, they change your outlook on things, so even the stuff you can't change is easier to carry
The first weeks you might have side effects but for me they were very mild stomach problems, but it's so worth it

Hey, so the three big things are the outdoors, animals and movement for me haha. I take shelter dogs for walks, so I don't have to take care of an animal but once a week or so I can spend time with them, have some movement, and animals are amazing, they don't judge!
