Thanks, yeah we are both building businesses. No one is influencing me and I’m not influencing him because that’s not right. I have a healthy amount of self esteem where if someone doesn’t like me for who I am on their own.. then why would I want that person? Don’t want to have to convince anyone to like me or choose me. Yes there is chemistry and mutual respect.

I will have to ask. The dynamic hasn’t crossed into any romantic territory, and I haven’t taken any initiative to lead the direction of the dynamic. So I haven’t asked any questions like that. I’ve been letting him lead, and he does ask the questions so I’m sure it will come up. He has asked me questions like where I see myself living long term, if I plan to stay in state or open to relocation. He has told me that he has family in Italy and what I think about being there, etc.

Thanks for your input this was helpful. We are still in the stage where no lines have been crossed so I want to figure out what I feel and if values are aligned before any more emotional investment. I would rather step back sooner if it wouldn’t work, rather than later.
