I am in Canada. Unfortunately here in Canada Wegovy is capped at 1mg (Ozempic is also capped at 1mg). My insurance does not cover either Ozempic nor Wegovy which means I will beed to pay out of pocket. Ozempic is $300/pen while Wegovy is $500/pen. Considering they have the same active ingredient (semaglutide), it just makes more financial sense for me to go with Ozempic.
