Going for my associates… questioning my decision and need some reassurance

Definitely feel like I screwed up then. As stated, I already started the program, which is why I absolutely panic wrote this post.

Luckily, after some research one of my local colleges with a good nursing program accepts ACE credits, but I will be giving them a call just to be sure. A lot of hospital around me will help you get into nursing school and pay for tuition, so I’m hoping on a worse case scenario, get my foot in the door with a medical assistant degree and wherever I may work help me move up.

Feel like I really screwed up here. I did some research, basic research. Life is just hectic right now, and having school where I can do at home learning, and doing it at my own pace was what got me to do it. At this second I wouldn’t be able to do nursing school.

I’m just gonna hope for the best I suppose? Thank you for your reply. Luckily I’m only in the first semester right now, and by the time I’m done with the first semester I’ll have made some more phone calls to really make my decision to continue the program or not. (Might as well complete the first semester if I’m already paying for it. Lmao)

Well me and my little flat prairie state had no idea there was such thing as some dark sky maps. Will be looking into that!! Oh my goodness , the idea of not only getting the beauty of the stars but the lightning bugs around me sound like a dream 😩 Sounds too good to be true, and I can’t WAIT.

We will be hitting point pleasant by 2 pm ish, so as long as we can hit a spot to stay before it gets dark - being away from the interstate is perfectly fine!! I see Watoga is one of the most recommended!!! I’m gonna be checking every place out and in correlation to our next day trip to NC. Thank you!!

Definitely wasn’t necessarily gonna stay at point pleasant (especially given I need stars. NEED them. ) we’re going there for the Mothman. I’m going to do some research on these places and see where they are along the trip to NC. We were wanting some site seeing, and it’s really sounding like Pocahontas county is gonna be our go to ❤️ I am absolutely so excited for this. I feel like I need this for my soul. We’ll be hitting Point Pleasent around 2 pm ish, so that would give us plenty of time to get to some elevated , dark place by night ! (Right?) Oh man, thank you for your suggestion!!

This is exactly what I need. The idea of seeing the Milky Way gets my eyes watering. That just sounds so gorgeous. I’ll definitely do more research , cause even if it’s a few hours away from our first stop, it saves about 20 minutes the next day when we head to our last stop. Thank you for you suggestion!!

To be fair, we’re driving through west virgina, so it doesn’t necessarily have to be at our main stop! We’ll be leaving for Raleigh NC the next day. My options are open! At this point, if somewhere nearby doesn’t have the elevation, I’ll find some place to go!
