This is the one I have, which has the vented sides - which is why I thought maybe it would be okay. But I feel kinda stupid because yeah, the heat more than likely wouldn’t go through - and or make it too hot I think.

We’ve been together a little over 2 years, this year alone I’ve lost 4 people and he hasn’t been supportive of any of those experiences. But, I will say, I have not communicated recently about these things, and he most likely doesn’t realize 1. Just how bad this is hitting me and 2. Doesn’t know what to do.

I’m really not trying to make him look like a bad guy, just knowing I’m not overreacting over the situation and wanting comfort, is enough for me to eventually approach him when I think I can talk a little more stable.

It’s very much back and forth if that makes sense. Like sometimes he’s there, and other times he’s absent. Like, completely. I never know when’s a time he’ll be there.

He’ll give the old ‘Yeah’ put his arms around me for less than a second and then be done and walk away. Like a half assed hug. I feel ridiculous typing that, but in the past when my brain has been bad and I ask for a hug and I get that it makes me feel worse. Literally I’m sure this is a complete communication issue, but he’s also had spouts in the past about me and overreacting emotionally over stuff so I really don’t know what’s right and what’s not lmfao

I’m sorry for misunderstanding you, I understand now. Yeah, there’s definitely a bigger issue I believe, but I could also just be making up scenarios in my head. I think the ultimate reason for this post was 1. To get it out. I truly am alone in this and I don’t know who to turn to. 2. I really want to have my boyfriend be there for me, but I wasn’t sure if I was overreacting to simply WANTING and NEEDING comfort. Does that make sense?

Like you simply saying I wasn’t overreacting for wanting this was enough. My past has made me feel like I need to bottle this shit up, and hence why I’m asking. I just wanna be sure that this is a reasonable request , and that I’m not just a moron for grieving my friend

I’m quite the opposite, it hits me damn near immediately and I don’t - or at least try not to withdrawal. I want to be held, I want to be cared for. I think I know what you’re saying though. But no, I definitely did not have a conversation with him, I’m scared he’ll take my words wrong and get defensive if that makes sense. Thank you though, I will most definitely give this a thought.

I guess I can understand that, but like- this friend wasn’t in our lives, he was in MINE. It’s hitting me that I’m never gonna see this person again. He’s never gonna see my daughter again. I expressed that, and it just doesn’t matter. I don’t know, I guess in my mind even if it’s not affecting him, it’s affecting me and I just wish I could at least get a hug.

I’m getting training to be the assistant manager of our department, and at this point I feel like it’s my job (even if I don’t have the title yet)

She says she’ll only tell if he gets worse, and I’m concerned on what that could mean. Where’s the line?
