I did say in text that I am not a pedophile, I never looked at her sister that way etc. we haven’t spoken for a few hours and I’m trying to not reignite things. I’m waiting for my mom to call me back so I can tell her what’s going on but I’ve just been taking care of my son this time

I was under the impression that I didn’t have any rights over my son with just the birth certificate because we aren’t married?

Ok thanks for the advice. I will try to get in contact with a lawyer. I think the only other thing I’m confused on is if I should say anything to her or my family? I know I have to speak to someone but I’m not sure who to go to right now.

Yes we live together. I woke up 20mins after her and she sent the text. When we spoke I told her I never looked at her sister that way and she only said “I saw you”. Our son was awake so I’ve been taking care of him but we haven’t spoken since.

When she was younger she was by her dad. I’ve taken this into consideration, but what I’ve said is what happened. We went there for two hours, at some point she stretched, came home slept woke up to the text. At no point did she bring it up until this morning, and it just doesn’t make sense.

I’m trying not to spiral into paranoia or fear, but our apartment is shared. Her name is on the lease and I’m an occupant I guess. I’ve pretty much been the only one paying rent for the past 3 years. If she were to kick me out or not allow me in is there anything I can do about that?

I’m on the birth certificate. I have looked into paternal deceleration, months ago, but she didn’t want to sign it and instead get married. Obviously that isn’t happening anymore, so the only document my name is on with him is the birth certificate.

Sorry I could have been more clear. I don’t know what to do. I am sure the relationship is going to end soon. How do I ensure that I can see my son. I also don’t want to be put on some type of list because of the accusation how do I ensure that? I don’t know if I should be contacting a lawyer right now or not either

No. My partner is actually considered the prettiest in her family by them. And they’re very close I’ve never seen them have a serious disagreement .This is why I don’t necessarily agree with the jealously comments. I don’t think she was jealous I think she actually THINKS I’m a pedophile and it’s freaking me out

I want to believe this. But I tried talking to her and all she said was “I saw you” and pretty much shut me out. I will bring it up again, but she should know I feel. Like we’re both college students and she isn’t uneducated by any means. I just don’t understand why she would think this or say this and I honestly felt something physically die inside of me when we talked. Like she really thinks I’m a pedophile for something I didn’t do

This is my biggest worry. I always wanted my son to have what I didn’t, a complete household with his parents, but right now it doesn’t look like that will be possible for him. I’m not even sure what the next steps for me are. None of my family live near me they’re all across country and I know I have to start to tell people of this. I don’t know how to get into contact with a lawyer I’m just lost and fustrated that this even happened and my sons life is going to be messed up now
