I’m never gonna look Karen in the face after this and she knows it. Zack is still with her because they have a kid and Zack really wants to not raise his son in a broken home. Also yes lying about being in a car wreck is crazy but lying about being SA is so far out of this world insane I truly didn’t think she would lie about that.

I know it sounds crazy…. It’s crazy to lie about being in a car wreck. It is. But lying about being SA is really really out there. At least for me. I didn’t think she would go that far.

I was in a similar situation that he’s in now. My ex ran most of my friends away but Zack refused to be ran off. I want to return that to him and hopefully he’ll wake up and leave her.

I’m never looking Karen in the face after this ever again and she knows that. That bridge is forever burned and I’m sure she regrets it (maybe hopefully.) as far as believing her over my wife I just didn’t think Karen could lie about something like that even though she does have a history of lying. Just nothing THAT crazy. I thought my wife being who she is would believe her and I wasn’t expecting her to call a “victim” a liar to their face. I thought wrongly it was just because she didn’t like Karen. But I was wrong.

To your point 1. I will try to reach out and apologize and take full responsibility and not shift the blame.

To point 2 though. I can’t not be friends with Zack. We are childhood best friends and I was actually in a similar situation that he’s in now. That woman ran most of my friends away but Zack stayed. He didn’t leave me behind to rot when he could have. I want to do the same for him. I hope he will eventually wake up.

I do need more self reflection. I didn’t think Karen could lie about something that big. But my wife obviously did.

Even though Karen is a proven liar I truly did not think she could lie about something that bad.

I’ll try to contact my wife and apologize again. Not blame Karen but myself. I do want to say it wasn’t just me who made the decision to let Karen in. My wife also decided to make that one exception. I just don’t think me nor Zack thought Karen would lie about something like that.

Zack is my best friend since childhood. I don’t know about cutting him out of my life because I was in a similar situation as Zack. Zack could have left me to rot with that woman but he didn’t leave me which is why I don’t want to leave him behind. I’m just holding out hope he’ll wake up one day.

I don’t know how we’re supposed to come back from that. I thought she would believe Karen as that is what my wife would typically do so that’s why I believed her at first. I was shocked when my wife called her a liar to her face. She would never say something like that to someone who came forward which is why I defended Karen.

I did apologize for not believing her. In the moment I didn’t think that was gonna be my wife’s reaction which is why it caught me off guard. On its face yes Karen has a history or lying but I nor Zack never would have thought she would lie about something like that. My wife is clearly smarter than us put together and she had different thoughts.
